ROXANNE MUKUDU PHILLIPS, Flute player, expert in traditional Persian music, composer
Roxanne has performed with a variety of ensembles and currently both performs with and writes music for her flute, violin and cello trio La Chaconne.
She has been playing the flute since she was four years old and was a first prize recipient of the Leslie Barklamb Scholarship for three consecutive years (2003, 2004 and 2005).
Roxanne studied music at Melbourne University. She studied performance in both flute and voice (soprano) whilst majoring in Composition. She was the recipient of the Catherine Grace McWilliam Bequest for the best final year music student of the Bachelor of Music (2009).
